Welcome
Welcome
Lindenwood University Career Development is here to assist you in preparing for the world of work.
Career Development coordinates on-campus interview and resume/job matching programs, bringing together LU students/graduates and representatives from business, industry, governmental agencies, and educational institutions; conducts job search seminars, hosts or co-hosts a variety of career events, and maintains CareerConnect our online career center management program.
It is important to remember, however, that we are not able to “place” you in a position, we do not make hiring decisions, nor do we create jobs. The purpose of Career Development is to assist you in determining a career objective and help you develop a strategy to obtain experience relative to your career goals.
Mission
The mission of Career Development is to provide resources and support to students and alumni as they prepare to make career plans and transitions for a lifetime. We continually strive to cultivate strong relationships with employers, faculty, and community members by establishing a link between education and the world of work.
