Using the Lindenwood Library

The Lindenwood University Library serves all Lindenwood students, staff, and faculty. The library is housed in the Library and Academic Research Center located along First Capitol across from the Lindenwood University Commons.  The library contains our print collection of over 80,000 volumes, group and individual study rooms, leisure spaces, technology enabled spaces, and much more.

The library also has many resources available online for those who are unable to visit the physical space or would like to access our resources from anywhere.  Our ebook collection contains more than 100,000 volumes.  We also have over 100 databases that contain many journals for all disciplines. All these online resources can be accessed through the library website.

We hope that this guide helps you, but if you need more information please feel free to contact us using any of the methods listed on the Getting Help tab.

If you need one-on-one assistance with your Environmental Science research, please reach out to me for an appointment or drop by my office in LARC 368.

Getting Started: General Databases

General databases, like the following, are great places to start your background research. If you need more information on an assigned topic or don't know the exact topic you want to search, start with one of these databases. Once you have a good idea of your topic, you can look at more specific databases, which can be found under the Finding Articles tab.
