September/October- Activism, Advocacy, Antiracism, and Allyship: Stories About Social Change and Personal Bravery
October - Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and 75 years of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) by reading a book featuring a character with a [dis]Ability.
November - Celebrate National Native American Heritage Month by reading a book in any genre by a Native, First Nations, or Indigenous author
December - Read a book featuring an LGBTQ+ character and/or written by an LGBTQ+ author
January - Read a book written by or about a Refugee
February - Read a book written by an author of color (AOC) in honor of Black History Month
March - Celebrate Neurodiversity Week by Reading A book by or About Someone that Identifies as Neurodiverse
April - Read an #ownvoices book set in Mexico or Central America
